Email that keeps working after the sale.

Email marketing for small business, set up properly. We build Klaviyo and Mailchimp accounts, branded templates and automated flows that welcome new customers, follow up on interest and bring people back, so a single sale can become a relationship.

Why email still earns its place.

Email is the one channel you own outright. No algorithm decides who sees it, and the list stays yours if a platform changes its rules. For a small business, a few well built automated emails can carry the relationship after the first order or enquiry, quietly, every day of the year.

01

Which platform suits you: Klaviyo or Mailchimp?

Klaviyo suits online stores, especially on Shopify, because it reads purchase and browsing data. Mailchimp suits many service businesses that need clean newsletters and simpler automation. We also work in GoHighLevel, and recommend whichever fits your business and your team.

02

Automated flows do the steady work.

Flows are emails that send themselves when someone takes an action: joining your list, browsing a product, leaving a cart or completing a purchase. Set up once and reviewed regularly, they keep working without anyone pressing send.

03

Templates that look like your brand.

Every email is designed to match your identity, with your type, colour and tone, and built to read cleanly on a phone. Your team gets reusable templates, so a new campaign is quick to put together and always looks consistent.

04

Email for service businesses, not only stores.

Contractors, clinics and firms benefit too. A welcome note after an enquiry, a thank you after the job and a gentle review request can all run automatically, keeping you in mind for the next project and the next referral.

05

A list built on permission.

Good email starts with people who asked to hear from you. Signup forms, consent and unsubscribe links are set up with care, so the list grows cleanly and your emails keep landing where they should: in the inbox.

Four pieces of a working programme.

Start with the setup or go straight to a full revenue system. Every piece is built in your own account, so the list, the data and the flows always stay yours.

Welcome and browse flows

A welcome series that introduces the business and what makes it worth choosing, plus browse and cart reminders that follow up gently when someone shows interest but has not quite decided yet.

03

Post purchase flows

Turning one rug into a long relationship.

Lewis Park is an Alberta rug retailer whose customers take their time before buying. Alongside the new brand, the Shopify rebuild and the search retainer, we built their email programme: welcome, browse, cart and post purchase flows that carry the relationship on after the first order.

01

Discover

We look at how customers find you, what they buy or book, and where they pause before deciding, so the first flows focus on the moments that matter most.

02

Define

A written plan sets out the platform, the list structure, the flows to build first and the tone of voice. You approve it before anything is set up.

03

Design

Templates and flows are designed and written in your brand, then tested before anything sends. You review every email and see the work take shape each week.

04

Deliver

The flows switch on, your team learns how to send campaigns, and a handover guide shows where everything lives. Ongoing campaign support is available month to month.

Straight answers.

Is email marketing worth it for a small business?

For most, yes. Email reaches people who already know you, costs little to send and keeps working through automation. A small business can run a handful of flows that bring in repeat orders, reviews and referrals without adding hours to anyone's week.

What is Klaviyo, and do I need it?

Klaviyo is an email and SMS platform built for online stores. It connects closely with Shopify and uses purchase data to send the right email at the right moment. If you run a store, it is usually the strongest choice. Service businesses often do well with Mailchimp instead.

Which email flows should every business have?

Start with a welcome flow for new subscribers, then add follow ups based on what people do. Stores gain the most from browse, cart and post purchase flows. Service businesses do well with an enquiry follow up, a thank you after the job and a review request.

How often should a small business send emails?

Often enough that people remember you, and not so often that it becomes noise. For many small businesses that means one or two campaigns a month, with automated flows doing the everyday work in between. Relevance matters far more than frequency.

Do I own my email list and account?

Yes, completely. Every account is set up in your name from day one, so the list, the templates and the data stay with you. If you ever change who manages your email, everything carries on without starting over.

Are there rules for sending marketing email in Canada?

Yes. Canada's anti spam law, known as CASL, expects consent before you send marketing email, clear identification of who is sending, and a working unsubscribe link in every message. We set up your forms and templates with those basics in place from the start.
